Meadow Park in Lyons, COLyons: Our home

Coming to a High Street Concerts show from out-of-town? Why not plan on grabbing dinner in town or spending the whole day in and around Lyons.

Bring your mountain bike or your hiking boots and hit the trails at nearby Hall Ranch or Rabbit Mountain Open Space; play pinball on vintage machines at Lyons Pinball; shop our quaint downtown stores; or enjoy a leisurely walk through Meadow Park. We love Lyons, and we think you will, too.

And if you wouldn't mind mentioning to the restauranteur or local business that you're in town for the High Street Concerts, we would really appreciate it.

Restaurants

The Lyons Chamber of Commerce has a complete listing of restaurants in Lyons. But here are some of our favorites.

  • The Gateway Cafe is the most unique place in town. A really interesting menu and a funky ambience. They are taking a vacation sometime in January, so give them a call to make sure they're open and have room.
  • There are 2 great German restaurants which are both authentic and quite good: Andrea's Cafe and the Black Bear Inn.
  • Oskar Blues is the main gathering place in town. A visit to Lyons is hardly complete without stopping here. Traditional brewpub fare plus cajun food and pizza. And great beer. We always have an after-party there upstairs after the show.
  • The Stone Cup, located at 442 High Street, serves great pastries, soups, sandwiches, coffee drinks, and great smoothies.
  • For someof the best malts and shakes around, visit the Lyons Soda Fountain.
  • Cilantro Mary's is back! On the corner of Main Street and Highway 36, this favorite local Tex-Mex restaurant recently reopened after a several year hiatus.

Take a Lyons mini-vacation. The Lyons Chamber of Commerce has a complete listing of lodging in Lyons. But here are some of our favorites.
